Listening to Le Mans radio someone asked why Loeb wasn't racing this year.
Apparently he just wasn't interested this year.
Gone down in my estimation.

That's not a surprise to me. I guess he'd be with Pescarolo again this year, with no realistic chance of coming higher than 5th. That's not going to excite someone as competitive as Loeb - he wants to win.

If Peugeot had offered I'd bet he'd be interested....if Citroen would let him...

Plus didn't testing clash with the Acropolis Rally this year anyway?

He's not driving this year because there wasn't a seat at Peugeot for him and he wasn't allowed to drive again for Pescarolo because he'd be competing against his employer (Peugeot/Citroen) plus his rallying commitments. If he has said that it would be just an excuse to cover his employers not letting him race again.

He said last year that he wouldnt do it again without a realistic chance if winning and there isnt one without a diseasel car.

i would be suprised if citroen wouldnt let loeb drive for peugeot as its the same company.
