Race start time ?

As I'm not going this year, I will have to settle for watching the race at home.

The last two years that I've been, the race has started at 16:00hrs local time. I believe this would be 15:00hrs in England. Is it the same this year as the www.lemans.org website refers to the start at 3pm. I assume this is the GMT time as has been the case in recent years ???

It is starting at 3pm French time, so you'll want to be watching Motors for a few hours beforehand anyway.

I thought it might be. I wonder why they've shifted the time.

I don't know why either. I do, however, think that it might be elections. Just a guess.

Wasn't it skewed last year because of the footy and now its back to normal?

Not sure - I seem to think it maybe went to 5pm (french time) last year due to football but was 4pm the year before ???

it's because of some french local elections this year
