Anyone know what damage was done to the VX220 that was performing for the crowds on Friday evening? I heard the crunch as it hit the disposal truck, but when I got there to see what had happened the car had gone.

It sped off apparently. Didn't see it myself but one of the chaps in our party told me.

Hey Phil I sent you a message on Wednesday I think it was. I take it the Zonda didn't go in the end? Saw the M6 and GT3, and the Maserati which must have been the substitute. Have a good time?

From what I heard the guy in the 220 did a burn out, forgot about slowing down then front ended it on the truck. He reversed away, left his bumper behind then scrapped his way down the side of the truck trying to escape causing more damage along the way! Opps, what a wally!

Saw a VX with PH stickers and a LOT of gaffer tape on the LHS of it last night at the tunnel. Wonder if it was the same one

I got your message but my other phone died - message & telephone number with it frown The Zonda didn't make it sadly but the others were stunning anyway smile I take it you were stood on the Mulsanne straight when you saw them?

The guys were camping next to us and we helped them out a bit. They used my Vette car cover just to keep the vehicle away from prying eyes and finger pointing. The lads were well cut up about it as I spoke to them about 20 mins after the incident. Something like this was always going to happen which is why some form of one way system would be so handy around LM infield roads.

I think the impact made it look worse than it actually was considering how the other vehicle was a dustcart. The driver didn't seem to concerned, made a call and headed off.

The lads passed us in the M20 chaos so the car made it back ok. If you read this guys feel free to PM, hope it all gets sorted.
