Whos garage have I just been in?

didn't get to go to Le Mans this year, but what just happened makes up for it a bit. 
me: phone builder for a quote, never met him beofre.
builder: just got back off holiday, be there in 5 mins!
me: so where'd you go on holiday
builder: le mans
me: no shit, good on yer, what did you drive
builder: camper van for all the other guys
me: eh?
builder: group of us go down with classic cars and do the vintage parade
me: wow! what kinda of cars
builder: Jaguar D types (original) a cooper, once a winner of le mans
me: what, they drive them down
builder: one of them, but most go on the back of a 1950s commer transporter, tell you what, i built the place where they are stored and worked on, I'll take you there if you like.....
What followed was a purpose built barn at the bottom of the garden of a multi million pound house consisting of full workshop facilities & a classic car collection of rare Aston Martins & Jaguars, apparently one was involved in an incident with a ferrari within a Classic race?
I then was taken to see the 1950s Commer transporter, absolutely beautifull, saw pictures of it loaded with all the classic exotica and it was a stunning sight, some of you must have seen it at Le Mans.
Lovely owner also, real enthusiast, must admit though, I felt like I was intruding a little, as they had only just returned & were inspecting the damage to the Tojeo, which must have been quite a gut wrenching accident
Had to share it as it was quite sureal only having phoned for a quote for some building work
Anyone see this transporter? or know anything about where i have just been......

I dont supose Dick (Ray) was getting rid of a Shelby Daytona recently (or still is) was he? that would make my world very small
