After watching everyone doing their bit on the Mulsanne straight and getting a little puff of smoke... I thought, sod it, ill show 'em how its done properly!

If anyone has any pictures they took of it, please out them up.

Enjoy!

(was carried out under the guidence of safety officials, on a closed road for this event)

Brilliant. We were sat about 100 yards up the oncoming side watching that, was amusing to see the amount of tyre smoke left behind and people whistling/shouting/clapping.

Good show!

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Znwb2_wjyh8 Taken by me. More officially policed and sanctioned closed road burnout action wink

I know, its terrible. Like when those F1 cars were in London doing wheel spins and donuts, and when MotoGP winners et al do burn outs after the race. Absolute disgrace.

Nice wheel spin Lee clap.

By definition, Anti Social Behaviour is behaviour which is not enjoyed by the majority. I didn't hear anyone being upset by that display. The local french guys were probably inconvenienced when trying to drive up the N138, but in fairness, when I know a road is going to be busy (due to a major motorsports event; look at the warning which are up for weeks prior on the M1) then I don't use that road. Far better to applaud this controlled, one off behaviour than simply blanket everyone who enjoys flexing their cars muscles as ASBO material.

I think the asbo comment is a bit OTT, everyone was doing it, everyone was cheering and clapping... I think I just created a 'little' bit more smoke than most...

I dont make a habit of doing that to my car, its not my usual style of driving. It was just a bit of harmless fun...

Glad everyone (well most) enjoyed it... biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin
