Short lived, but good effort...

So we went down to Le Mans in a 'convoy' of my old splitty VW, Ricola's Phantom GTR and a friends Mercedes C270CDI.

The last one is clearly a touch dull, but he did make an effort using poster paint. If only it had stayed dry:





By about mid-distance we had a black merc with a few orange streaks, by Le Mans it was completely incognito...

We were a couple of cars behind you on the Thursday 10:40 Speedferry, it looked great.

A few hours later, we saw you at a petrol station on the way down - shame about the rain!

I was next to you in the blue Tuscan with the stickers as we checked in at Dover in the morning - shame indeed about the rain causing the paint to drip/run!
