Toll prices

Can anyone give a rough estimate of the toll costs between Calais and Le Mans if sticking to the peages? Our group is currently trying to decide the best route to take cost/time wise.

About 20€ each way give or take a couple.

This year it cost 16 Euro + 6 Euro each way.

if you're travelling solo and your motor is rhd, you could do a lot worse than take one of these and some disposable cups .... invaluable at the toll booths.

On the way back this year they had people there reach in your car to take the money off you... Probably helped the congestion a bit, but not much!

Thanks for the info folks. That grabber could be handy as my car has full harnesses and I'm currently sans co-pilot for the trip.

Just make sure you have a big wadge of change on you. Also not a bad idea to keep a credit card on you as you may find that the queues for those booths are shorter as some of them can get... fecking long! Good chance to scope out the other cars though
