I'm off to LM for the first time next year and want to sticker the car up good. it's a black Volvo estate so plenty of dark areas for some high contrast white stickers. Question is this; which are the best stickers to get that are easy to apply and more importantly which can removed without just leaving the primer on the car?

I know some of you guys have some real exotica that gets stickered up so guess there isn't a major problem with it.

I'm thinking a big PH logo on the bonnet and 1 on each of the rear side windows in the estate bit.

Cheers

These two statements seem to be at odds with each other. I think you need some inspiration smile ...

and this wasn't even for Le Mans!

This was our Team Car last year(Volvo C70) and our first attempt at stickering up! Had no problems taking the stickers off. If you are worried about the paint, warm them up a little first (hairdryer?) as this makes it easier. smile

I got my stickers mostly from "I Say Ding Dong" on Ebay and Racegraphics. Excellent service both. The cost sneaks up on you a bit though. All the stickers were just a pound here and 2 pound there and before you know it you've spent 100 quid yikes.

Anyway onto the real purpose of my post, an excuse to post more pictures of our Le Mans stickered up cars biggrin

Well this is a bit of a late reply but I just had to say that your "le singe est dans l'arbre" sticker is the best I've seen so far at le Mans. I spotted you on a trip to the supermarket and nearly died laughing biggrin

Glad you liked it. High praise indeed! It seems to be appreciated by both Brits and locals alike. We got some really puzzled looks in the French villages on the way down. I think it will be adopted as our team slogan for the future.
