Has anyone had any experience of 'Van Wrap' type vinyl stickers? Costs for full car / partial car?

I was thinking that it would be the ultimate for Le Mans, but not sure how much it would cost.

I had a look on http://www.raccoon.co.uk (they did the Gumball 3000 cars that looked ace - examples) and it gives a rough guide price of £900 (plus VAT) for a full Smart car...gulp. They seem to be one of the best and probably charge accordingly. If the vinyl was only designed to be in place for a week or two (ie. lower quality) and it was only on part of the car then I'd hope it would be a bit cheaper.

Anyone know any more?

I was looking at doing a car wrap for my elise s2 this year but they said full wrap will cost approximately £750 and that’s before any artwork/design costs which when i told them my design it would be around £1700 and i didnt want to pay that.
So iam going back to Dan at HOLLOGRAPHICS http://www.hollographics.com/acatalog/ hes really good and help me to pull off my spitfire dsign for my westfild which i took to last years le-mans 07 thumbup

there isnt such a thing as a cheap van wrap im afraid or lower quality, that particular vinyl is so expensive to start with, before a design is even is printed onto it, its then sealed then applied, the costs soon mount up

Thanks guys, it does look a touch expensive...!

I suppose for the Gumball the sponsors paid for it which makes it a bit easier. scratchchin

I was thinking Wrapcoon might be a better name, but then again maybe not.

The guys who do the gumball stickers are ace, very professional and work their nuts off to get all the cars done. They were a cracking laugh too!

I was in the Gumball in 2006, here's my beast. We were only a display car so only had to get to Hyde Park corner!

The guys at Hollographics did a sterling job for the WRR group last year!

You could try talking to MotorMode - they did the wraps for the Top Gear football with cars thing. 01622 817400
