Looking to do a go kart event at Pro AM in Tockwith ( near wetherby) outdoor circuit on 1st or 2nd of march as a pre le man race, will be doing a full grand prix event and would be good to get a decent number of people there, it will be a great day, rain or shine so if you want to come please let me know, cost is max £40 each, (normally £45 each) and needs to be paid in advance via myself and as soon as possible.

Blackcab,

Later or at the weekend i will ping you the details of other White Rabbit Racing members who came last year who are from [bs mode]God's county [/bs mode]. There's a bunch of them from York and a few from Leeds that are a good bunch. Vette1978 is from Sheffield as well so you might get some takers.

I might be interested in this and if you cross post on the Yorkshire forum, there's a bunch who like to race at Tockwith too if you want to get the numbers up.

Simon Smith's a good egg and enthusiastic karter too, so he makes sure you usually have a decent kart and a great event.

Hoping to get to Le Mans again this year too, somehow, but haven't figured the details or got the leave pass sorted yet scratchchin

New member on PH. Won't be able to make the karting in Tockwith - I'm in Italy. A shame as it's just down the road. A gang of us will be on the 8.20 Eurotunnel on the Thursday morning so may see Blackcab's yorkshire mob then instead!

Good stuff, we are an hour in front of you on the tunnel, we are going to drive down proably through the night when roads are quiet if you fancy a bit of a steady convoy

I might be able to get along to this... I'll have to check my work schedule.

Only doing a quick blat down to LM and back this year. Don't think I have time for a big one and we might have the ladies with us this time.

Thanks for the offer blackcab. We are however travelling down on Tuesday evening and will 'slum it' in a Travelodge prior to four nights of luxury on the Annexxe!

You're spending two nights in the Travel Lodge before travelling Thursday am?

Our "Race? ... What Race?" crew also get an 08.30-ish Eurotunnel on the Thursday. Me being a northern oik, I drive down Wed afternoon and stay in the Ashford Travel l wotsit smile

Hi, I'll keep my eye out for you guys too. I'm staying at the M2 Travelodge overnight Wednesday and catching the 7am Speedferry on Thursday. Hopefully with a couple of mates too, but they've not confirmed ferries yet...

Given that my new car only has 700c no doubt you chunnel users will pass me before Rouen smile

Do we need a Yorkshire version of the Pistonheads roundel to identify each other? Maybe a flat cap on the smiley? biggrin

Thanks for pointing out my deliberate error. Can you blame me for wanting to get the journey underway sooner than expected!

We are staying in the Folkstone Premier Inn on the Wednesday night if anyone is around for a beer (four Yorkshiremen, a geordie and a southerner (well, Rugby!).
