Ticket allocations date
Discussion
I emailed tickets@lemans on Friday 18th asking about the campsite ticket allocations and they replied today saying that they would not be issuing them until "at least March", so no-one will be guaranteed tickets until then. So, if you see any advertised on ebay or anywhere else before March, they wont actually have them.
March is way too early for camping passes to be issued.
I imagine the OP perhaps asked a more specific question, I know people who have been told that their allocation won't be issued for a couple of weeks.
Of course the ACO might just be pissed off with people emailing them and ringing them to ask and might just be sending back a standard email to keep people off their backs.

People wouldn't get pissed off if they operated a more straight forward system. Every year the ACO seem to favour the agencies more and more. I really couldn't be bothered to deal with them this year and have instead booked through Team Langoustine for one surprise final year at Houx Annexe.

Well said ! I paid for membership last year and got the Beausejour, thanks for nothing. Like a fool I joined again and requested tickets in July. They like to take your money but we get *uck all in return forcing real fans to buy from inflated agent prices to get a half decent campsite. Boo-hoo There are 10 of us going this year. We have paid for 5 ferry tickets, bought a better bigger marquee but have to wait over 10 months for the ACO to tell us if we have a campsite or not. Why cant they sell them on a daily basis from say 1st July until they run out. Take the payment in July or whenever you book and thats it all sorted out no worry first come first serve. Its a great British event but unfortunately "organised" by the French and held in France.

This is the future I think, the ACO will relinquish all ticket sales to a minority of agencies and let the bun fight take place in their offices. I've used TL once and Just Tickets twice, the ACO system isn't worth the hassle.Vette_1978 said:

We get what we want without the agro of second guessing what the ACO are going to give us. One thing is for sure, you will not get what you ask for and by the time you find out, you have lost out.
I am happy to pay the small premium to guarantee we get what we want. It is only once a year, so don't compromise.
