If you've not yet booked you're going to be left with little or no choice bud.

Houx Annexe and T18 ACO grandstand.
The very best combo, absolutely.

GT3,

I've been going to Le Mans since 1996. Never camped. I've always been seated in Maison Blanche so you know what my opinion on the best grandstand will be! I have been in Lagache for Le Classic and it's fine there too...probably good for the start and finish for any racing but too noisy otherwise for the whole 24 hours (I know others will disagree!).

Houx (though the advantage of marked pitches is being shared with more sites from this year - still the only one with copious free electric).

Personally - Dunlop, as the chicane at the end of the start/finish straight sees lots of action and makes for some good photo ops. (Oh how we laughed when the pole Peugeot screwed it up on the first lap and handed the lead to Audi after what... 500m - we laughed even more as the French fans went all quiet).

Others in our group prefer the s/f straight so that can watch the car's in the pits.

We always camp in Houx and have seats in the Dunlop Chicane stand.

And we have spare Houx tickets. PM me if interested.

By way of comparison,I was lucky to find this place last year. This years £215 buys you:camping in the grounds of a secure private local Chateau, Friday eve buffet, Sun eve BBQ, Sat Sun and Mon breakfasts, coach to and from track if required, about 20 mins to the entrance(included in price). The campsite is purpose built with permanent on-site facilities ie proper loos and showers! They create a bar area in a building which gives it a 'club' atmosphere and you get to use the chateau swimming pool. The place has some permanent accommodation blocks. Its run by the British guy who edits the Essential Guide to Le Mans and he also opens it up for the Moto GP in May and the Classic in July.

The grandstand over the pits T34 IIRC is a bit of a mixed bag.. I've used it a couple of times but we've swapped to the other side of the S/F straight as we want to be able to see the pits better.
