What car are you taking this year?

Was just wondering what cars everybody is taking this year. Im not sure what im taking yet, it will depend on what i have got.

So what car are you taking?

I have to say, after seeing some of the antics last year, I really wouldn't want to be taking anything more valuable, what with people spraying your lovely ferrari / porsche interiors with water pistols and beer etc.

My weekend toy - a '99 S1 Elise, probably with the luggage rack as pictured below on the way to LM last year

Option 1: Audi S6 Avant - Waftability, room for another beer fridge and assorted camping feng shui.
Option 2: Chimaera - Cook / drown (*delete as appropriate according to weather), pack light, enjoy every mile.

The Audi is perfect for a Le Mans trip, but if I dont take the Chim I need my head examining. What do you reckon?

I'll be taking the 1978 Corvette Pace Car on it's 4th trip to Le Mans. Taking a week this time round so look out for use during the scrutineering coverage on Motors TV.

unfortunatly i don't have anything fancy so it'll be the company car which will be new as from March. (VW Passat estate)
unless i win the lottery before then inwhich case i'll be driving in a Ford GT...or a large campervan.

The Saab would just be too easy and boring. As for drowning/cooking, 2006 was a bit of both. Arrived in the middle of a thunderstorm and was then cooked for the rest of the week. Loved every minute and wouldn't take any other car

Second year at Le Mans and after going as a passenger last year I'll be taking the Chim this year and now really looking forward to it

ditto (co-pilot) - we've now bought the bad boy range rover and after throwing copious amounts of money into the petrol tank on the journey home it is now ready to be transformed! pics will be up soon in the other thread...

Cool.

Just need to decide on the stickers. I've got a spare badger stripe from last year and the ear defender stickers are still on, but need to sort out the rest.
