...and we cant wait, but any tips?
We're camping at Beausejour which is a bit of a walk but nevermind! There's 6 of us going, in a Renault Grande Espace - and yes it will be stickered up!
Anyway, apparently there's no power at the campsites, so how do people tend to run fridges and such like? Surely they don't all have generators buzzing away the whole weekend? But if not, how do they keep their beers cold?!
Also, I've heard the toilets are pretty horrendous - is this true?
Finally, are there any rules on BBQ's and stuff, as we were hoping this would be our staple diet for the weekend!

You can hook up to power on some sites, not sure about BSJ though. Some run gennys all week(end), we keep our beer cool by buying a bin at Carrefour and filling it with water which works ok, coolboxes should be ok for keeping food cool, you can get ice from the supermarkets but it does run out, especially if it's a hot year. More or less eveyone cooks all their food on the barbie, drivers commment on being able to smell thousands of BBQ's while racing.
Only Houx has power hook-ups so you'll either have to use a genny or coolbox.
Toptip 1 - Dig a hole to put a bucket in and fill it with water (the bucket that is).Then add beer bottles. This should keep the beer cooler than just a bucket on its own.
Toptip 2 - If the ice does run out at the supermarket don't use frozen vegatables. We used peas one year and after they hade melted, all our beer smelled of peas. Not nice.

We did consider a trailer with the moto-x bikes in the back but felt it'd slow us down too much on the journey there and back, plus didn't fancy them getting nicked if they weren't under lock and key the entire time!!
Do you mean push bikes? No reason why I can sling the bike rack on the back if they're a good idea, although probably cant take 6 in one go!!

Generators ar the answer to power at Beausjour. As long as your not inconsiderate to others with regards to the noise, most people are not bothered by them.
I think our camp may have one this year (also on BSJ).
The toilets and showers are not great, and can be busy at peak times, but you'll get used to it. They are cleaned once a day I think, not that it makes much difference.
No problems with BBQ's, we just brought a cheap one from the supermarket and left it there, seemed the best option.
