There is the Hotel Arbor on the Mulsanne straight but it is normally dead men's shoes to get in for the race. Go here:-

There is a new hotel being built on the Mulsanne bend but it won't be ready this year. It is still a green field at the moment.

Yes, there is an access road to the Hotel Arbor which they use during the race. It depends where you are coming from as to the best way to get there (no, not irish, just that with so many roads closed I can't give directions without knowing where to start from) but basically it is on the main road between Ruaudin and Mulsanne on the right. However, the small access road is blocked off with security guards and you need a pass to get in.

How does one get a pass? how are we supposed to get to the hotel if the roads are blocked??Dr

Whilst I can't help you with specific roads. It is possible to get to the hotel via the man "follow your nose" route (was drunk & not driving)!
Hmm, with R10's and 908's flashing past perhaps? The ONLY access road during the race is,by way of explication, as you come down to Mulsanne bend and the roundabout to turn left as if going to Champion supermarket, in other words third exit. 100 yds down there is a road before Champion marked Ruaudin. Go down there about half a mile to a crossroads and it is the road on your left. This small back road has barriers up during practice and the race and security guards on it. If you've booked a meal then I suggest you ask the hotel how you gain access. For the Classic it is fully booked as always by the Morgan club by the way. Oh, and regarding Adrian Newey's car, here is a clearer picture of what happens if you try and take a chicane at full chat while dicing with Ray Bellm.

I can see a road leading to the Hotel on Google Earth, I was thinking that the Gendarmes would seal this off during racing?
Does anyone on the forum have actual experience?
We stay at that Hotel for LeMans, will be there again this year.Does anyone on the forum have actual experience?
You have to be staying there or have booked a meal to get a pass.
I don't think they will be selling tickets at the gate.
