OK, I've got further to go than most and a few thing to do along the way. From Africa via Amsterdam, Aberdeen, Knockhill (Classic Speedfair), Newcastle, Amsterdam again...

...then trackday at Abbeville on the way back.

Fingers crossed for the weather, it was pretty miserable watching the race in the constant rain on Sunday morning last year, at least it cleared up a bit for the drive home on Monday though.

Bought myself a pair of Wellies yesterday, Im going prepared for anything this year!

I'll be taking some waterproofs just in case, last year we bought what appeared to be waterproof jackets from Carrefour which turned out to be 'light drizzle proof' but nothing more! Unfortunately being in an Elise I think the wellies will have to be sacrificed to leave room for other stuff

I refuse to believe its going to rain this year. I will not be taking any wellies, waterproofs or umbrellas. Just my Hawaiian Tropic, tee shirts and a cap. Always an optimist!

All the wet tales from last year (I was there too) reminds me that I remain convinced that a grandstand seat is a must. Forget the expense, it means you can enjoy it whatever the weather. R.
