Wheres the fun on sunday night ?
Discussion
In 2006 we stayed the extra night (sunday) and went home on monday morning, beating the rush. We got together for a few drinks with some guys next door with Scoobys, drank beer and had an egg fight but that was about it. This year there are 10 of us staying at the Thecnoparc. Once we have watched the Eastern Europeans looting the remains of deserted campsites, what else is there to do apart from the usual drinking etc ? A mate said that in 2003 he stayed sunday night and had drag races somewhere in his Twin Turbo Supra against other Brits but cant remember where. So, does anyone know where to go sunday evening for something to do ?
Houx Annexe is usually good fun on Sunday night, come out of Technoparc and turn right...
Our group used to send £700 worth of fireworks up on a Sunday night at the roundabout or from the top of the loo's (many years ago) which was always good fun...
I know the Air strip has been used in the past..
Outside Campsite Bleu is usually pretty good on the roadway too...

in 06' we went on to the mulsanne with bomber denton and obiwonkybolokey and a few others had a few beers at the pub then ordered a chineese take away then went urban surfing on the roof of the range rover at 50mph, that was quite good fun esp as all the BiB did was laugh at us on the roof!!

We did plenty of circuit driving after the race last year (the black van going hell for leather into some of the corners with all the tyres screeching was highly amusing!) and ended up in Arnage village watching the Grand Prix on the big screen in one of the restaurants! The atmosphere in Arnage as others have said is very relaxed, reminiscing on the the week's events and getting ready for the hoon back to the ferry port.
Last year we pootled down to Arnage to spend our remaining €, then got back to the campsite before darkness and pikies descended, set up the projector tv and watched Life of Brian, had a last bottle or two of wine as ze crazy Dutch blew up most of Terte Rouge, then had an early night.

Haha... I had a good long chat with the guy in the black van, called it the "F**k Bus". He had tuned it up so that he could tow a heavy trailor for his day job. Highly amusing to watch him embarress the Elise owners trying to pull away from him!
It was fantastic. The guys in the Rolls Phantom with the picnic on Sunday night at Mulsanne was a sight to behold too. They were laughing along with everyone else at the crazy f
