who's camped in beausejour before then?
we're staying there this year and i was wondering what the rules were on the tickets/passes?
Do you get scanned in? is there any chance of getting another car onto your plot if you forfeit camping space by moving a pass between vehicles?
is the 5x7m including your car, or as well as your car?

All you need is the yellow pass that they sent you. Last year they didnt scan us onto the campsite but DID scan us into the circuit and they have to scan you out as I found out it sets alarm bells off if you try and get back in without being scanned out.
I would be careful about moving passes between vehicles. We arrived last year at 4:40am on the sat morning and I was suprised at the amount of marshalls on duty showing people into the site. This year they have put barcodes on the campsite tickets so maybe they are scanning people in I dont know.

Every time I've been in the past I've been forced to stick the camping pass onto the windscreen. They are REALLY sticky and designed not to be removed in one piece, I imagine, to prevent transfer between 2 vehicles.
I think the nearest general parking areas would be opposite Maison Blanche - Parking Blue or White I think? Dunno if there's any passes left for them though but a bit of stroll from you.....

I was in Karting Nord last year, the pass was a window-hanger type rather than the stick-on ones they've had in previous years. It did have a barcode on it but it was so badly printed I'd be surprised if it could actually be scanned, but I don't know because nobody ever tried.
I never had the ticket on show on site, becuase I have an Elise and the roof was off a lot of the time so the pass was kept in a bag inside the car. In theory I could easily have walked out with the pass and given it to another car to use to get in but that doesn't mean they won't have changed things this year....

I've parked in Parking Blanc every year I've been to Le Mans since 1996. I am sure it is ticket only ie you cannot turn up on the day and buy a ticket. I think the same is true for Parking Bleu which is nearby. You probably have time still to try and find a seller of just a Parking Blanc or Parking Bleu ticket, then you should be all set, although some way from your pals and your tenting area. At least you'll be there! Good luck!

Its my second time to Le Mans this year but 1st time at Beausejour. Just had a look on the beermountain website and seems to be a good place to stop, just hope its not too far to walk. We are going to try and get the yellow Maserati there in one piece but will make sure we have RAC cover. The chap organising our party has one camping pass available if anyone is struggling to get one, I can always put you in touch with him. Can't wait to get there now, getting the Le Mans decals fitted at the end of May then we're nearly there.

ITS A WALK! However there is a noddy train which picks people up and runs them up to near the village. Your within spitting distance of the porsche curves and if you fancyed it could easly drive into Arnage for a bit of grub and beer in the evening
personally, i've camped at masion blanche, camping houx and beausejour for the first time last year. Beausejour is certainly interesting, it bloody huge, has fairly good facilities which surprisingly weren't jammed packed. Its a bit of a walk to the grandstands but as long as you have a cold beer in your hand it doesnt seem to bad 
. Only problems is getting in is a nightmare, theres only one road in and thursday and friday its jammed for 3 miles either way. So if your in a classic, watch that temp gauge. All in all though as long as your there, what does it matter?
