Access road around Houx Annexe
Discussion
I seem to recall someone, possibly 'lowdrag', mentioning that the road running to the north of Houx Annexe, where you could access Parking Vert, had been removed or absorbed as part of some changes to the Bugatti circuit, or something like that.
Trying to find out if that's definitely the case as we arrive on Friday night and wanted to use it to skirt round the clowns on the roundabout and get to the entrance to Houx. Based on last years behaviour we don't want to go anywhere near the roundabouts and the pissed-up animals who were there.
Any info very welcome.
Well you could always drive down past the grandstands, parking blue, masion blanc, ect untill you reach the porsche curves, turn left under the tunnel then take the next left which will run you past Karting Nord and up to Houx! I know its a longer way round but you do avoid the muppets on the roundabout

Certainly fromt he last photos posted of HA/Bugatti work it will have been absorbed. Anyway, they weren't letting people use the road last year - not every time I tried at least.fatboy18 said:

Hmmm, aren't there similarly stoopid people on the roundabout near Karting Nord, before you drive along the edge of Houx ?

Worth bearing in mind though, so thanks

i've also heard that there are 'new' vehicle check points on the approaches to Houx Annexe/Karting Nord/Houx and Petit Houx and only camping ticket holders will be allowed to progress any further.

You'll find that Houx Annexe looks very different when you get there . . . Tram anyone
It'll be very interesting to see what it looks like once everyone is camped out . .. Glad I'm in Houx again.
We were there last week on our way through we thought we'd stop for a look.
How much smaller does it look? I would love to know whether they have reduced the number of tickets sold accordingly. Guess we will find out in four weeks......

its not vastly different, looking at the camping schematic on the ticket reverse, its only slightly smaller and divided in two. We'll all have a marvelous time.
have a look here for the schematic http://www.clubarnage.com/forum/index.php?topic=84...

Looked quite a lot smaller to be honest, but I'm sure it'll be fine and everone will have a great time.
I do hope they have adjusted the allocation accorsingly as some people were etting frustrated with space in HA over the last couple of years and if its a similar number of tickets with less space it could be more frictious than before. . .

best to be at home during Thursday/Friday and guard the homestead
...which is why we always camp in Houx. Quite why some people seem to see marked pitches as the end of the world I'll never know - it just makes life so much freeer, easier and less stressed. You can arrive/come/go when you like without having to worry someone will have set up camp where your car was parked.Gassing Station | Le Mans | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
