hope no ones eating their tea while reading this:-

as it's my first time at le-mans and the first time that i've been able to drink myself stupid morning noon and night for 5 days solid and after all the BBQ food and junk that i eat my bowels aren't going to be in the best of health so i'm wondering what the secret is to stop the plops?
or do i just take 3 toilet rolls instead of two and put up with it?

Thanks in advance

unless you have issues and need to go 5 times a day, it will be fine. Toilets aren't great, but they do the job for the once a day you will need to. Take your own toilet roll though.

You can try loperamide 2mg take 1 as a prophylactic and then one more if you get the squits, you can get these in Tesco's etc for a quid they are supposed to be a symptomatic cure for diarrhoea. It may leave you a bit bunged up though, also may leave you a little drowsy after the drinks. I remember at School when we went camping being given army rations containing 'Biscuit Browns' They were supposed to bung you up, whether that was a myth or not I am not sure.

Neil

the advice comes quicker than I can type, immodium and loperamide are the same thing. Buy the generic version (loperamide) it is cheaper.

With all the cr@p (pardon the pun) food you'll be eating it is most likely that you have the opposite problem.

One guy in our group didn't go for 3 days!!

Can't speak for the other campsites but the toilets on Houx are OK - big block with 50:50 squat-n-drop/sit-n-read and portacabin-style block down at 'the bend'.

Personally I find the temporary block to be about the best and normally sit-n-read.

This is why the White Rabbit Racing campsite will be installing it's own toilet facilities and they'll be kept in reasonable condition. I don't like below par facilities when pondering the meaning of life so we'll have out own thrones.

Can't help you off camp though.

i'm so happy i opted for camp WRR/PH and paid a little extra, for a nice toilet it's worth every extra penny.

Thanks Guy

Being of the older generation we were given Exlax chocolate to keep us "regular" at school whether we needed it or not. We had a new boy join the class and he seemed to like chocolate so we all gave him ours. Dunno why he didn't turn up for a few days thoughbiglaughhehe

I swear by it! It helps with IBS or when you're on a long journey and don't want to use service station/local facilities!

Take something with codiene in it...works a treat and is easier to "get back to normal" compared to taking Immodium...

Careful though with immodium, the first after a while on it you will actually 'st a brick', anyone know what the toilets are like in Houx Annexe? was in maison blanche last year and it was alright.
