Morning all,

A group of friends and I are driving down to Le Mans on Friday 13th (oooooohhh!) and it's our first trip.. 3 M3 convertables, black, grey and red (I know - a bit homo but fun all the same) and a couple of other toys will be in the convoy so look out for us!

We are staying at the Beausejour campsite and it's supposed to be pretty good. Is it near the PH campsite? Would love to meet a few of you. Also, are there any essentials that anyone would suggest taking to make the weekend as good as possible??

Would love to know your thoughts.

Jimbo,

I'm travelling solo Friday morning too from Surrey, using Eurotunnel. Not many PHers doing this as most will be going earlier during the week(see the Le Mans Crossing thread). What crossing are you using and what time? May see you all on the road? However, as I'm staying at Falaise I'll be leaving the autoroute after Abbeyville and heading west which has the plus of avoiding Rouen.

You'll be an hour or so ahead of me on the road so I may not get to you! R.

The PH/WRR camp is on Beausejour, so I'm sure you'll see it on your way in.

Just make sure you're prepared for a monsoon, then anything better will be a pleasant surprise!

The other essential is some way of keeping the beer cold - even if it is only a coolbox full of ice.

Cool,

I am looking forward to the blast down.

Keeping the beer cold is esential, I am working on that..

Also, the weather is supposed to be OK, sunny and 24-25 degrees... Fingers crossed..!
