Latest info from 'Highways' which might affect those rushing for their departures;
Monday 9th June
* Between the hours 22:00 – 05:00 M1 J8 to J6A southbound, (2 lane section) will be closed - all traffic diverted off M1 along M10, A405 to M25 J21A and M1 J6.
o The southbound contraflow lane will remain open for London. There will be no access to M25 from M1 at J6A southbound.
* Between the hours 22:00 – 05:00 M1 J9 to J8 southbound, will be running in a single lane.
* Between the hours 22:00 – 05:00 M1 J9 southbound entry slip will be closed - diversion via M1 J10.
The above closures are required for surfacing and barrier works.
Tuesday 10th June
* Between the hours 22:00 – 05:00 M1 J8 to J6A southbound, (2 lane section) will be closed - all traffic diverted off M1 along M10, A405 to M25 J21A and M1 J6.
o The southbound contraflow lane will remain open for London. There will be no access to M25 from M1 at J6A southbound.
* Between the hours 22:00 – 05:00 M1 J8 to J9 northbound, lane 1 & 2 will be closed, all traffic in contraflow lane.
* Between the hours 22:00 – 05:00 M1 J8 northbound entry slip will be closed - diversion via M1 J6.
The above closures are required for surfacing and barrier works.
Wednesday 11th June
* Between the hours 22:00 – 05:00 M1 J8 to J6A southbound, (2 lane section) will be closed - all traffic diverted off M1 along M10, A405 to M25 J21A and M1 J6.
o The southbound contraflow lane will remain open for London. There will be no access to M25 from M1 at J6A southbound.
* Between the hours 22:00 – 05:00 M25 clockwise slip to M1 northbound at J6A will be closed - diversion via M25 J21A, A405, M10 to M1 J7.
* Between the hours 22:00 – 05:00 M1 J9 northbound entry slip will be closed - diversion via M1 J8.

Thursday 12th June
* Between the hours 22:00 – 05:00 M1 J8 to J6A southbound, ( 2 lane section) will be closed - all traffic diverted off M1 along M10, A405 to M25 J21A and M1 J6.

Friday 13th June
* Between the hours 22:00 – 05:00 M1 J6 to J6A northbound will be closed - diversion from M1 J6 via A405, M10 to M1 J7.
* Between the hours 22:00 – 05:00 M25 clockwise slip to M1 northbound at J6A will be closed - diversion via M25 J21A, A405, M10 to M1 J7.
The above closures are required for traffic management alterations.
