The Classic had better be good!!!

Watching qualifying on Eurosport....first time in a long time not sitting on the bank above Maison Blanche watching the same thing. At least the in-car shots are impressive.
Hope the Classic is a good replacement!!!!!
The showers are better here. Beers not so tasty though and tomorrow will not be so interesting.

You will enjoy the classic, i hope it is not alot more popular than in 06 because it was nice to sit anywhere you liked and go and look over the cars as they were about to form up, your only missing a few diesels!! just stand behind a T70 or 250LM(literally) when it fires up and you will forget all about those pesky Audis.
Not long now, and i can't wait.

For those that haven't been before and like the sight, sound and smell of race engines through Arnage and Inianapolis. Two pictures for you… An Audi R10 diesel whispering by or a BMW M1 spitting 5 ft radius blue flames on each up shift and 10ft long fire trails on lift off………
Classic IS great, you won’t be disappointed..

I shot this video at the last one. As you can see, you can really get in amongst the cars...
Those Corvettes accelerating past the pits/ grandstands are the loudest thing I have ever heard.........gave me goosebumps on my arms just from the sound, glorious !!

Less than four weeks left to wait.
Cheers,

Just got back from the 24HRS and I was looking through my Classic Race timetable. I am really looking forward to seeing the younger classics from the 70s and 80s as i can relate to them more (not to say I don't appreciate the older ones, especially from the 60s) ... and am a little dissapointed that the timetable has them running from about 20.00 - 00.00 on Saturday night and again at about 04.00-08.00 Sunday morning ... not a lot of sleep for me that night then
Now then, do I clean and de-sticker the car or just leave it as it is and just get in a drive all the way back in four weeks?
