Hello!
Was anyone else camped there? I thought it was awesome, really made a nice change to:
A) Be within spitting distance of cold beer on tap and hot food.
B) Not worry about having tents raided.
C) Have nice toilets and showers.
D) Be close enough to Arnage.
E) Did I mention the beer?!
F) Having designated tent/parking spots.
Bad points were:
The Kebab van nearby after drinking far too much....!
Really made a massive difference from Houx the last few years we've been, thoroughly enjoyed it.
I was the one with the Mk1 Golf Gti/big white gazebo!

and you can solve that in many ways.
Buy a ticket for parking green and drive up in 5 mins as I do.
Or take the noddy trains of which there are now 8 circulating to different destinations all of which were detailed in the Le Mans brochure.
BSJ also forces you to get out and about to see what's going on and what better way to do it but on foot. Walk doesn't bother me in the slightest!
got to say being on BSJ with WRR didnt bother me.
firstly i drove during the week to the circuit and dumped the car in an appropriate spot when i needed to buy tickets go to paddock and museum etc
as Guy said you kinda expect to walk see stuff and lets face it the Porsche curves are not a bad intro to Le Mans
lastly and more importantly the walk allows and indeed positively encourages the consumption of a fine local brew!

I stopped with them, my first time (at Le Mans). Friendly atomsphere, great food & drink of course!!
Footy to watch on TV before races on Thursday/Friday Eve, was plenty of room clean toilets and showers and a great atmosphere allround and reasonably priced we thought!
BSJ is about 25-30mins to the village - we timed it!! a bit far from other places, although we went in the car to Mulsanne corner at about 2am!! What a spectacle!
Will be rebooking for 2009 with them but going on Wed nextyear and grabbing a few extra days rather than a mad thursday eve ferry dash like this year!!
Hope you all enjoyed it and Thanks to Camp Creation/Speed Chills for a great well organised event!!
