Le Mans Classic; Will we tolerate Chav's?
Discussion
Don't panic, I am not a Chav and I can prove it too! I mean, what kind of Chav would even be bothered to ask if their type will be tolerated, 'eh?
The reason I ask this question is that I will no longer be attending the 24hr race due to the fact that for the past few years I return home more wound up by the appalling behaviour encountered and feel that a decent holiday is required to calm down from the experience!
This will be the first time that I have attended the Classics and although I am sure that I will enjoy the racing/cars, I am just a little uneasy that my enjoyment may be impaired by any over exuberant Chavtastic behaviour and I am here to ask; What should I expect?

I've been attending CLM since 2004 and never seen any chav elements. '04 was loverly & quiet , '06 was busier but still a great atmosphere ....... '08 is looking to be huge with loads of 'newbies' to the classic, but hopefully they will be car enthusiasts & not there just to get pissed.
Traditionally everyone who has attended has been there for the cars. MB has always looked like a mini classic car show
+ People actually leave the campsites to watch the racing !!
Additionally the campsites were quiet all night with just the sound of supercharged Astons blasting up the track to keep you company
.. no pissed up chavs playing music.
This year I notice a lot of 'moderns' are attending so wether this will change the atmosphere on the campsites will be interesting to see.

Some of the "Race... What race..???" chavs are going

...don't worry the "chav" element of "RWR" have been confined to camping at Maison Blanche!!!

Besides I thought we made MB a V8 area only for the classic ????

Any bovver and we just get BIG TONE to stand up.
That should sort it out rather quickly.
If it does not, we can send Gareth in after a few litres navy rum!!
I recommend watching practice under the trees at Tetre Rouge. its brilliant, over 4 hours you get to see all the great racers, from the 1920's to the early eighties. Really entertaining.
Don't put anything on the ground though, the stag beetles ('kin big) climb in if you do. Trust me on this one.

Were not going to the classic, we are chavs and pissed up idiots, we like people who hate cars and we all wear baseball caps back-to-front.
So we will see you all in June 2009 for more drunkern exploits!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please don't go to the classic, it will be sooooooooooo boring and nobody will have a good time.
Big Chav Love.....
Kevin & Perry and family, claiming dole and the social and loves Stella and alcopops!

, I have seen your profile and a Chav wouldn't even know what a 7 was, let alone want to photograph it.
