Where to eat?

For the first time I'm heading to Le Mans and not camping. Having always been tied to the track by excess alcohol levels, I have no idea where's best to go. Can anyone recommend some restaurants not too far from the track please?

You can now use the tram to get into LM itself from the circuit, with no fear of alcoholic excess curbing your enjoyment!

Try Maitre Kanter in the Place des Jacobins, or the Auberge des 7 Plats in the old town. Cheaper but always reliable is the Corail opposite the station.
