I stood on the grassy knoll at midnight and watched the plateux 6 racing and the BMW M1's were flaming madly. Anyone else see them, what did you think?

Yes, the M1's looked magnificent, as did the CSL BMWs, the Capris, even the Panteras looked cool. It was groups 5 and 6 i liked the most, faster, nosier, just more exciting.

I sat on the banking at Tetre Rouge and watched the M1's facinated by the pulsing flame from the exhaust on overrun. I was the same with most of the M1's and the pulsing seemed the same frequency every time as if the engine managament was making it happen.

Was at Tetre Rouge myself Saturday evening was superb and with the gap between each group there was enough time to nip out to the Tetre Rouge bar for a cool pint biggrin

I think the Alpina M1 seemed to generate the most consistently impressive flame!? laugh I too was standing on the grassy knoll at Tetre Rouge on Saturday night!
