My Le Mans friends and I are off again later this month!

http://www.circuit-des-remparts.com/

It is in the PH diary, so was wondering how many PHers are also going?

Although we are just spectating, this will give you an idea of the action.

Angouleme is lovely and the event is ace. Not goping myself but you will really enjoy it and half the entry tends to be British.

Remember that you are in Cognac country...

I've been the last 2 years and although I was planning on going again this year it's not happening frown I still have all the info on my site which now serves as a free guide. Pictures, map, circuit guide etc. MIght be useful to anyone who is going.

Would be very interested to see how it goes, I was going but dates clashed so went to theZolder 24 instead, which was very good, so am planning to do the Remparts thing possibly next year.

I have been for the last couple of years, as I have a friend with a house nearby where we enjoy his hospitality.

He also has a Blue GT40 Replica so he gets in every where so easy with it!
If you see us come over for a chat!

Bumped into Sir Sterling himself last year in the pits!
Hope he races this year!

I am sure that you will find that he is at Goodwood this year.

Not satisfied with having the FoS on Le Mans Classic days, they are now trying to spoil the CdR with the Revival.

P.S. Clay Reggazoni attended Angouleme in 2006, shortly before he died.

Well, having been to every Revival I am getting a tad bored and was looking through old photos of the C des R back in the early 1990's. A good relaxing weekend and great fun so I'm giving the revival a miss next year and going back south for the weekend in the new C type. Closer to home and it saves being ripped off by the dearest ferries in the world. Should be a fun jaunt.

Not just VERY old classics racing.

But its the atmosphere that just does it.
