I see that the race is 13th-14th June 2009. That's the 2nd weekend in June. I thought the race was always the 3rd, or am I just making that up?

I still havent seen confirmation from the ACO (although everyone is saying its the 13th/15th, I'd like them to confirm it).

Anyhow, this will no doubt be a very long thread, so its nice to be the second post.

Now, about the overall victory for the Lola-Aston Martin...

I've been telling myself I'll go to le mans for the past 10 years (not a simple drive-tunnel-drive from here in Ireland) but I've never quite managed it. Maybe 2009 will be my year, was so sorry I missed Peugeot vs Audi this year.

Isn't it usually nearerst the longest day? 21st June or something. It's definitely out of position this year, I think because the Brit GP is on 18th June and the Organisers are worried how that might impact the crowds.

Consecutive weekends of Motorsport is going to be a big ask, but I think I'll manage. Monaco is only a couple of weeks before as well......
