Anyone heard from them recently? Had an email just before Christmas to say that they hadn't finalised their allocation yet but it seems to have gone a bit quiet since then?

Judging by an email I got from Andy at TL the allocations for a few sites have yet to be finalised. I doubt they can go out and confirm anything if they can't confirm everything. People will need to have reserve sites allocated, grandstands etc.

I'm waiting on 1st Tickets for my Tetre Rouge allocation. Not concerned though to be honest. Give them a ring if you're that worried.......then post on here what they say smile

Hi Guys,

Yes we are still waiting for our allocation to be confirmed for a number of sites as their layouts are changing slightly. We expect to hear from the circuit about these sites shortly, but have enough sites confirmed to begin making our way through the event register next week.

We are currently at the PistonHeads show (opposite the Autocar stand), so feel free and pop over for a chat.

Cheers

There are a handful of Pace Cars in the UK so it must have been somebody else. It's mostly resident at Silverstone or Brands during the summer months.

TICKET ALLOCATION UPDATE:

We have now had confirmation from the circuit on almost all the campsites for 2009. We will start making our way through the event register next week and will aim to contact everyone as quickly as possible.

Technoparc will not be open for booking this year.
It might open for race week depends on ground conditions.

That is an official statement, so if you are hanging on for it, get something else sorted now.

Got my allocation email this morning. 3 Tetre Rouge passes, 6 admissions and 6 seats in Tribune 19. Comes to £236 each which isn't bad considering the exchange rate.

I'm one happy bunny!

Just got the allocation. Confirmation and payment is wanted within two weeks.

This seems like a tight deadline compared to last time where I was wanting to pay before they would take the money!

As a fair part of our group are Students, hopefully this won't make it unrealistic for them.

David.

Sounds perfectly reasonable to me.

Can't think of one other event where i have been offered tickets on 2 weeks approval.. Yep, in each and every case, i've purchased on the spot.

Same here. Bit of a ball ache that one lad has now decided he can't afford it so we've got to find someone to join our merry band. Looks like I'm going to get my fingers burnt again! Next year I might just book for me alone!

David.
Here is the reason for the two week deadlines for provisional allocations:

As we open the event register just after the previous year's race, we have a large number of enquiries to deal with and there is always high demand for tickets for the most popular sites at Le Mans. We work our way through the event register in date registered order and provisionally allocate tickets based on their requirements. Due to the high demand for sites like Maison Blanche, Karting Nord, Houx and Houx Annexe, these sites are always over subscribed.

By holding tickets open for two weeks this allows groups to finalise their numbers and arrange payment. We also find that some customers have made other arrangements or have decided not to go, freeing up tickets for those later in the event register.

This year, the delays in the allocation process by the circuit have delayed us starting to make our way through the event register. We aim to process all enquiries on the event register as quickly as possible and will be following up provisional allocations to finalise customer's bookings.
