Lemans food ordering, please advise.

I will tell you what would be bloody helpful guys. Help in ordering food. For the last 3 years all i have been living on at the Lemans circuit is bloody chips in a cob. Last year at the large central food tent i had to walk away and find the proverbial chips tent because i did not know what to order in French
Would someone be so good to give me an idea what can be ordered other than chips in a bap, what should i ask for?
Any advice or suggestions? This may seem funny but boy is it frustrating

Can you not point, and say "j'aurai que s'il vous plaît" (I'll have that please)

use this link http://babelfish.yahoo.com/ type in what you might possibly ask for then, either remember it or print it off! Simple really.

Tartiflette.
Absolutely. I love it
It's the French equivalent of porridge. Sticks to your ribs and you only need to eat once a day. And as an extra bonus, no more going to the loo while you're at the circuit either

My mates got this theory that if you point and shout loud enough they understand, "I WOULD LIKE A CHOCOLATE COOKIE PLEASE!!!". Personally it's a bit lairy Brit for me but I can't argue with the results.
Two options are:
Andolliette - I think thats how its spelt, had it on the ferry last year, It looks like bangers and mash but don't be fooled, it tasted like a spicy, raw horses cock! Never managed to finish it yet.
Le Mac - The universal language - The Big Mac

1) Point
2) "Un", "Deux", "Trois" as necessary.
This works very well when stood in front of the Grand Marnier crepe stand ^_^
Other than that have you considered living on the edge?
1) "Bonjour" (day)/"Bonsoir" (evening).
2) Take menu
3) Point (at something random)
4) "S'il vous plait" (adding "Un2, "Deux", etc for flair).

This year is the 77th running of the event with around 40% of the punters being English speaking - The French may be arrogant but they are not stupid...
However, learn a bit of basic French and it will improve your enjoyment of the event no end.....

Andouilette is the least appetising 'food' ever created! It's made with various bits of pig which should never really be eaten, including its colon, which is why it always smells very slightly of s
t. The rest is made up with various other nasty things including tripe.I'm still confused as to how you know what a spicy horses cock tastes like though....
