So, at the present time there is not a great entry. Fingers crossed for the next two days! I'll post the follow-up press release when i get it.

HHmmmm......well the story goes from Dave Richards that the Astons will be seeing at LM09 so I'd expect to see those on the GT1 list. Maybe the JLOC will be able to field 2 cars this year?

50 years this year since Aston last won le mans
We might see a lola aston team in LMP 1

Colles(ex f1 team boss) has brought 2 Audi R10's to enter as a private entry
This could mean 8 of them up front on the grid.

According to the list on the ACO site you are correct, one for winning LMP2 class at Le Mans '08 and one for winning LMP2 class in the '08 LMS - http://www.lemans.org/sport/sport/actu/2008-11-24_...

No need now seeing as Aston are trying for an LMP1 victory. I hope they get a bit of competition in the GT1's at least.

Well it'll increase the fun of trying to guess who's going to be in smile

Judging by the health of the LMS, they won't be short of entries in the 24 Hours, though.

Henri was in the local paper as saying that he doesn't know as yet if he has sufficient backing but in the ALMS series I see he is racing with Mazda engined cars. He'll probably be there.
