I don't think either Audi or Peugeot will have trouble getting their required amount of entries.

Hey guys, great to see other Lizards fans on here !! I've been a big supporter of the Lizards since their first appearance (got the T shirts, etc). Le Mans is not a single race but several all in one period of 24 hours, and GT2, although it has been Porsche dominated for a long time, is where racing in the traditional sense still takes place IMHO.

1) They are hoping to win by re-using an existing engine not pushing things forward by spending money on R&D in the spirit of Le Mans.

It was the same last year, daring to say the GT1 car looked a bit naff in the Gulf-ish colours was met with silence and stares.
Personally I don't think Aston will win. Nowadays it's not the car or the driver that has the biggest impact on a win. To my mind it's the team and how that team reacts to situations in the race. Okay, if the car/driver is dog slow nothing is going to help (Tokai University anyone?) but it was ably demonstrated last year. Peugeot hit trouble and in the words of Hindy, the team went 'all Gallic'. Audi hit trouble and the team swing into action. That's what makes the difference.
And so, climbing down from the soapbox
, it's only 14 days to wait to the ACO press conference to see if Rollcentre get an entry. Come on Shorty.

2) Are all parts British sourced and is the driver line-up all British? Unlikely. Just the Brand name.
3) As mentioned before, EX F1 doesn't necessarily mean best for this class
4) What was the BTCC in the 90's? a load of those manufacturers, and that was interesting?
5)I don't understand French so I probably won't be listening in the first place
Good on Aston for taking the LMP1 mission a step further though, it would be good to see them do well, but I personally doubt they will be able to match the pace of the Audi's or Pugs over the distance.
