P1 = 5 x Audi, 4 x Peugeot, 4 x Lola-Aston + 8 others
P2 = 3 x RS Spyder, 4 x Lola (Mazda & Judd), 2 x Pesca Mazda + 3 others
GT1 = 4 x Vettes 2 x DBR9, 2 x Murciealago
GT2 = 3 x 911, 9 x 430, 1 Aston, 1 Spyker

9 Oil Burners - it's going to be quiet up front unless the Lola-Astons can get in amongst them.

Thanks for posting the link. There is potential for a good race up front with the 9 diesels alone. Let's hope the Astons have the pace in testing.

LMP1 is surely the class to watch, so much variety and hopefully even the chance of an Aston on the podium thumbup

Hopefully Porsche will be able to do something in GT2 against all those fezzas.

I have to say seeing that entry list I think there's even less chance of any petrol car being on the podium now.

I think Audi have been very clever. The R15 is unproven, the R10 is a known quantity (with factory support). Audi now have even more ammunition in the hare and tortoise race category. The R10's will 'plod' around at a fair lick at the head of the petrol battle/s while the R15's go out for outright win and try to break the Pugs. If the new Audi's and Pug's tear themselves apart the R10's are perfectly placed to uphold Audi's honour. Smart.

Shame there's only 1 Epsilon in P1 at the moment. Lovely car. Fragile last year, but lovely.

+1

I've gone from thinking this could be a slightly dull year with Peugeot likely to win, to seeing a whole load of wild cards appearing which means there could be 9 cars racing up front !! Excellent news !

i'm so glad i'm already booked as this is going to be an awesome race!!!

3 works audis (will one be a no show?) and two privateers, i think it is pretty obvious that the audi are a little worried about what peugeot may do this year!

4 peugeots, if peugeot pair their drivers correctly then they should be unstopable, i genuinely believe it will be there year!

3 works astons (and a "lola" aston), lets hope this is a 2/3 year project as i don't think they're going to be able to sneak more than a top five this year...

plus with oreca, the ginetta-zyteks and ee to bolster the lmp1 class this should be a good fight!

lmp2, anything other than a porsche benefit? a very strong turn out for what is usually a weak class but i just can't see the lolas, pescarolos and radical taking the fight to the (works) porsche cars!

surprised by the quality of the last gt1 entry, it depends who drives the astons and with what level of factory back-up they recieve as to whether they can take the fight to the corvettes...

8 ferrari's, 3 porsche's, an aston and a spyker, gt2 should prove to be among the best racing again, any of the porsches may win and 4 of the ferrari's also should be considered "favourites", but realistically any of them could sneak a podium or victory...

...i can't wait!

Very good field throughout. Aston have got there work cut out in LMP1 with all those Audi's and all those Peugeots! Those privateer R10's must surely still be a threat.

Ech? Always been UK in the past haven't they?

Nice to see 4 Lola coupes in LMP2 as well - maybe enough to challenge Porsche?

Aston Martin V8 creaping in to GT2 as well for a bit more variety.

Lets just hope everyone actually makes it to the grid and don't fall by the wayside during the hunt for sponsorship!
