following what seems like a lifetime debating about which site and who to go with this year we've just booked with Speed Chills again. Having used them for three years on the trot, last year we went "off piste" and gave Houx a go as everyone always seems to rate it. I have to confess while some of the group liked it, it left me a bit cold. Not quite sure i can put my finger on it, but it felt slightly soulless compared with other sites we've stayed on before (Blue, Maison Blanche and Beausejour). It just didn't quite have the same laid back petrolhead / carnival atmosphere (although that could have been down to the Max Power brigade and the fact our plot was on sand..). Maybe i'm just lazy and missed the cooked breakfasts and cold beer!

That will be it. I've ony used them once at Donington and they were a godsend. If they weren't located in BSJ I'd try them an LM aswell.

Ahhhh, I'll have a look at the website, maybe 2010 or the Classic could be a possibility.

The set up on Bleu Sud is for the Lotus 7 club. I'll be the meeter and greeter for them this year after saying I wasnt going but Chris and Neil are persuasive, so La Sarthe here I come again.

Bleu is open to all! So get on the website and book up as I'm sure the spaces will go fast.
Edited to correct misinformation.

anyone going with speedchills for the first time you have definately made the right choice. Been with them for the past 2 years and its a great set up. Decent food and drink, secure compound, pleasent staff. Can't go this year (the 10th wedding anniversary on the 12th and the MRS has put the foot down)I know I know!!!
Thinking of the Classic next year, does anyone know if they do a similar set up at the classic?????

Hi, yes we are definitely doing something for the Classic - we hope to do something in theme along our Hartford Hotel concept - http://www.speedchills.com/hartfordhotel.htm

Yes, the story is true and the guys at Hartford shocks have blessed our aim to resurrect this little bit of their history.

Cheers Neil
As a group were really dissappointed that we can't join you this year (although two years getting soaked in the westfield was enough) Will be intouch later in the year about the classic.
Hope you have another successful year.
