Who has the best prices for ferries??

4 in thecar, leaving on Thursday morning. Who has the best ferry prices????
Normally we book about a week before departure but trying to be organized this time around.
Any ideas welcomed

I think Norfolkline Dover - Dunkirk is probably the cheapest at less than £40, try www.aferry.to

I got the ferry booked Norfolkline Dover to Dunkirk car and two people ( 2 seater car !)but could have been up to eight i think? £30.00 return all in booked it in November cheapest prices i've ever had in years

Bottom line is the Earlier you book the cheaper it is

Just depends also on which port you want to go from!

I'm on the 8am norfolk line £28 return.

Used them a couple of weeks back when we went to visit some friends down near le mans that was around £40 return. It was on time and served a decent breakfast from around £5

When we got back we decided to book them for le mans

How much ime does the Dunkirk destination add to the driving time?

Last time I went to Le Mans (2007) i went out Newhaven-Dieppe, and returned Le Havre-Newhaven which was ideal for me, good timed crossings etc. This year you can't do Le Havre - Newhaven and the timings on the other routes are all useless, so is looking like Dover-Calais.

You're a couple of junctions further up. Its a 130k road, so adds about 20mins on the journey time. Some of thats made back by the fact its such a quiet port and is quicker to get out of

About 20 mins is bang on. We were over there yesterday and timed it at about that.
