My friend and I have booked exactly the same days as you, albeit we booked it in November and paid £53 - That's still a sizeable saving!

Thats still good, paid £62 last year and £74 the year before all booked at different times and this year we have good ferry times - 9.30am. Last 5 years we got the 7am ferry which meant getting up at 4am so we were all knackered by midnight thursday after the drive down there then watching the night-time qualifying etc etc....

I booked in January and the price for my selection has actually dropped !
Newhaven - Dieppe and Dunkirk - Dover, must be partially due to the exchange rate.

We're on the same crossings booked in Dec for £60 following Speedferries going under! Nice to see the saving and the cc company refunded us for the lost speedferries booking

I booked our Eurotunnel crossing last October, in the belief that prices could well increase in 2009 due to the strength of the Euro.

Suffice to say my belief was mis-placed

Still, it was handy to be able to tell SWMBO that I'd have to go seeing as I'd already booked the Eurotunnel
