The tent really is disposable though - you get what you pay for!

Does it dissolve when it rains?

Quite possibly! Put it up in the living room to test it and it looks OK as long as the weather's not too extreme. After someone broke a pole on my expensive mountain tent last year I think disposable is the way forward.
