Going this year in the other halfs volvo S60

Need to get it stickered up with something, but money is bloody tight this year.

Its orangey red, so im thinking cut price general lee.

Questions:

Where from? roughly how much do you think? Is it acceptable?

If money is tight, you would be better off going for pre-designed stuff. Either stuff from the pistonheads shop, or http://www.hollographics.com/acatalog/Le_Mans_24Hr...

Custom stuff will be a lot more. eg a couple of large '01's for the doors (general lee stylee) would probably set you back £30-£40. Conf Flag for the roof again £40 as a guestimate

If money is tight, I wouldn't worry about stickering up and save it for beer instead - it's not as if you won't be allowed onto the campsite if you don't. And let's face it, other than the run down there and back again, there aren't *that* many people who are going to get to see whatever you put on your car.

You might feel that you aren't entering into the spirit of things but I know where I'd rather be spending my hard-earned if I were in your position.

Don't know if this counts as "on a budget" but...

If your going to do it I'd say either do it in style (==£££) or go the s-cheap-and-naff-it's-amusing. Or to put it another way loads and loads of electrical tape smile

Did that last year on our 520 touring barge; union jack on the entire bonnet from electrical tape. Left it on about 3 weeks after the event - took all the lacquer off - D'oh! laugh

Try some black electrical tape for that home made look smile, have done similar in the past for my 'GB' sticker. Also the same for head lamp deflectors.

It's cost about a quid from a wholesaler like CEF, remember to ask for the price first, then ask for discount, then compain about the price, and you will get some more discount.

And then save your money for beer

This was a last minute a few years ago when the car was 2 weeks old, Company car - we stickered it up in the hypermarket just outside Calais.
