Lawrence Tomlinson has announced that Nigel Moore (17) will be the 3rd team member along with Tomlinson and Richard Dean in the Team LNT Ginetta-Zytek GZ90S.

This will make Moore the youngest ever driver to compete at LMP1 level, and also making him the youngest ever British driver to compete at Le Mans.

Well done, Nigel!

How old was Max Chilton when he drove in the LMS at Silverstone in 2007? I'm fairly sure he was 16, and driving the Arena Zytek in LMP1.

He was 16 - you're right, when he raced with his older brother, so Tomlinson will have to concede on that but Nigel will definitely be the youngest Brit ever at Le Mans.

Ed Morris was the youngest Brit when he raced at Le Mans in 2006 in the #35 Courage, can't remember if he was 17 or 18 at the time.
