If I wanted to view some of the mulsanne straight over night...
Where would the best place to go be? (From inside the tetre rouge corner)

Is this even possible?

we can't tell you where to go

it's the time honoured game of 'can I find it myself' involving planning on Friday afternoon, pre-trip beers followed by intra-trip beers, thorn scratched thighs, tales of high drama and low armco

it's a rite of passage

Coco Pops, myself and few of the the other 'hardcore prawns' will be taking the trek on once again, last year was absolutely amazing, one of the absolute highlights seeing the cars racing past full tilt only meters away! check out some of the clips on youtube for a preview.....

Untill some dick started using his flash! What a fkwit.

Des, do you remember the bunch of crouching 50 year olds who thought we were marshals.

"erm, good try lads but we can see you down there... Mulsanne is that way!!"

Basically you'll have to find it yourself, it's definalty a black operation and involves lots of sneaking around, also DO NOT use flash.

A few years back me and a few British Marshals occupied the Techno Park Post - #30 if I remember.

A few interesting experiences. If you think watching is awesome, try jumping over the armco, crossing the circuit and pushing a car back up the ciruit to a gap. Whilst the other cars are passing at about 175mph - It concentrated my mind ....

Another classic, but this side of the armco. 'bout 2am me and my Scottish mate Al see some movement a bit further down towards the 1st chicane.

So we take a bit of a look. And there's a couple of Brits, leaning on said armco, beer in hand.

On being found out they expected to be told to eff off in the best of French. When they did get the eff off but in the best of Scottish it was a hilarious.

You can't view on the Mulsanne except for the restaurant or if you're in one of the houses because it BL**DY dangerous!

I now do a post further round past Arnage and it's great fun. This year will be my 16th...

Neither vid is from Hunaudières because it's on the wrong side of the circuit ie inside - Norty Boys!

Last two years were my first.. the trip to get to the straight wasn't that exciting or hard at all. Just cross the little forest close to the gas station, go right a bit and there you go... exactly 100m before breaking point... you see the cars coming over the hill.

Unforgettable experience.

We managed to get trackside in '07. It had a small cottage to our right and a disused factory in front of us. Although last year we didn't manage to get trackside as we couldn't tell who was who in the darkness and there were rumours of Gendarmerie hidding in the undergrowth.

Sorry can't be anymore informative but you just need to go find it yourelf.
