This year's Club Arnage guide to Le Mans is now ready for download

http://www.clubarnage.com/caguide/

This is a well researched and updated guide put together by the people that actually go to the race...year after year.

This is a non-profit venture but it would be appreciated if a donation is made - to go to the following charities:

Association of International Cancer Research, for further details please see www.aicr.org.uk
Motorsport Safety Fund, for further details please see www.motorsportsafetyfund.com

top work, thanks clap

just read this on page 24, "The sound emitted from each car must not exceed 112 dbA during the qualifying practices and the race."

surely this can't be right? or is it not being enforced? the corvettes sound like they'd break that easily

Hi Bud,

Isaac tells me you might need feeding on Saturday? If so get my mobile number off her and we'll sort it out, would be great to see you again, even if only for a beer or two, and I think we can sort out the chocolate spread delivery if you guys haven't already made plans!

112dBA is probably about right! It doesn't 'sound' much more than the 100-105limits you get for track days etc... but it's not a linear scale:

115 dBA Take-off sound of planes at 10 m distance
110 dBA Siren at 10 m distance, frequent sound level in discotheques and close
to loudspeakers at rock concerts, violin close to the ear of an orchestra
musicians (maximum level)
105 dBA Chain saw at 1 m distance, banging car door at 1 m distance (maximum level),
racing car at 40 m distance, possible level with music head phones
100 dBA Frequent level with music via head phones, jack hammer at 10 m distance

Hi Rude-Boy,

No plans made yet Nutella wise.

Will you be at the same place as always ? If so I'll pop around on Saturday evening.

See you,
Hansgerd

Rich.

hehe i can see half the delivery coming via Tomo and the other half via us!

Yep, same place as usual, even think we have the same pitch as last year so long as they haven't changed things around! We'll be about quite a bit but will be off to watch the concert for sure on the sat night.

The plan is NOT to empty the whole store but I'll do what I can.

Isaac, I need phone numbers tomorrow.
