Everyone who is anyone will be there, that's who! Be there or be square! Last year we welcomed around 1,500 during the day.
Great place to go! Getting in and out can get a little tricky though.
A "convoy" (come in Rubber Duck) would involve traffic lights being manned, roundabouts and so on so isn't possible. The police will be closing these for the parade leaving St. Saturnin at 4pm so it is up to you what you do. Now I posted this a few pages back, but you must remember that the traffic on a Friday afternoon on the inner ring road is a nightmare. I know it is longer, but I suggest you take the motorway from Auchan roundabout direction Tours and come off at junction 25 marked Parigné l'Eveque. Then turn right after you leave the péage direction Le Mans to the next roundabout at Bois Martin, then left to Ruaudin and then Mulsanne. That way you will avoid the problems and probably take half the time. Now a "convoy" on the motorway seems feasable

depends on whether I get an invite for my car onto the Parade de Pilotes on the Friday afternoon....so yes probably up for the trip down to Mulsanne.
I'll count you in then. If your invite isn't there yet, it probably ain't gonna be. Duncan Wiltshire will surely have sorted out the parade by now. I've done it a few times, and frankly I haven't done it for some time. My worst memory is a few years back when it was so hot and so slow that every Cadillac (the make of the year) broke down with the heat. Two miles equalled two hours - impossible with an old car.
As every year. From late morning to 2:00pm-ish.

Enfants in the Playground area near the beer tents
Tried to bump into your last year Steve, met some of your friends with their beautiful Jags who were waiting for you to turn up... so perhaps this year we'll finally meet. Since we are neighbours we should really say hello at some point
