The time 2pm Tuesday 09th June 2009.
The place Karting Nord.

Our man on the ground reports that in Karting Nord at least, the so called marked out pitches are not marked out. Theres just a small peg in the ground. Half the campsite is flooded and some happy campers are pitching up in the wrong (someone elses) spot. There are some angry people. Our brave lad put up his tent, a six man jobby on his own and in a thunder storm but its now warm and things are drying out.

As usual, the French cant oganise a pi$$ up anywhere let alone in a brewery.

Will keep you informed, especially on the weather front.

I did not want to here that mate... this could be a mess! I hate it when this happens. we have a large group turning up on thurs afternoon and squezzing into 4 pitches, if the pitches are not the we could have issues frown

We're in there as well but in a camper van - last time I was there it rained and turned into a swamp and I wasn't having that again nono

Presumably there is security already on site?

Sorry !!! but thought you should know what to expect. Hopefully the rain will stop and if it does it soon dries up. If anyou is on your pitch, you have the ticket for it so they will have to move......

We're going to be trying to squash 2 tents and a car into a pitch at maison blanche tomorrow! Should be fun, hopefully everyone will be in high but sensible spirits.

Marvellous. frown

If you see anyone in pitches 36, 37 and 38 can you politely ask them to shift? That way, if they're still there when we arrive I shall just park my car in their tent and ask questions later...

Still raining 9.30pm Some flooding in Houx as well. Very cloudy looks like more rain, ground not being given a chance to dry out. Good luck........
