The cheering shortly after the start when the no.3 Audi crashed at Indianapolis was absolutely astonishing. I know that the home crowd were backing the French manufacturer but everyone was cheering.

er, actually not everyone was. We were not cheering at that point but were when the Peugeot and Pescarolo Peugeot crashed into each other in the pits. The French fans went VERY quiet.

I bloody well was thumbup
It didn't half amuse me though to watch the guy a couple of rows in front of me cheering the Peugots like a nut and giving the finger to each Audi as it passed.
I admired his passion if nothing else.

I was supporting Audi, Love their drivers, and while the car looks like a dog compared to the R10 and doesn't even come close to looking as good as the R8, i still wanted them to win.

On the other hand, Pug have got their act together after last year (apart from the lamy pits crash) and it would be a sad thing to see the 908 never to win at LM, as it is an excellent car - can't wait to see what they bring to the table in 2011 or whenever their new car appears.

Congrats to Risi for 1st and 3rd in GT2, JA for making the podium in GT1 and spyker for getting 6th in GT2 - the rest of the results were semi predictable, but it is LM after all, and predicting things isn't easy
