They had two tow along toilet trailers and two tow along shower blocks, plus about half a dozen single shower cubicles.
I was there for a week, showered every day, and only had one cold shower.
The other permanent block, by the entrance, was still open but rather run down. They weren't collecting money outside the blocks either.
Facilities were better than when I last went in 2005.

Out of 3 gents cubicles in the unit near the Bedford lorry with "Le Mans Transport" livery the middle trap seemed to be permanently out of order. There were no lights on (I think) friday evening but they were fixed the next day.
Never had to queue for the showers or had a cold one but then I avoided the busy periods.
On the whole the cleaners did a good job - even saw them working on Monday morning.

We were up the end by Porker Curves.
Only one set of "facilities" up that end. 3 gentS, 3 ladies and 6 of the worst plastic showers ever invented.
As said the middle loo went out of action very early on, so the lads were using the ladies when the ques built up.
Apparently the female attendant started shouting "Pour Le Femm" LOL!
"Sorry luv but my Mrs uses the same one as me at home" came a few replies I heard.
Why is it they provide the same number of loos for about 40 women as 3000 blokes?
Plus the other problem is that MB is open to the public and a lot of the French come along to see the cars through the Porker Curves.
So on race days another couple of thousand people are using the facilities.
IS IT ABOUT TIME WE GOT THIS IMPROVED?
SO LETS ASK OUR TICKET PROVIDERS TO SPEAK TO THE ACO?

Yes any GE ticket holder can get access to your tent, car etc at MB.
We were told two theiving Pikies were caught during the race stealing from tents, one was "Pummled", then left in a heap at the gate for the coppers to sort out! The other went quietly I believe!

This was my 5th trip to Le Mans but the first that I have camped at the circuit. Previously I have twice camped at a Chateaux on the north west side of Le Mans, once a larger group of us hired a villa and last year myself and the other half had a hotel in town.
Personally I felt the provision of toilets and showering facilities was wholly inadequate for the numbers of persons using the campsite. For myself next year I am going to revert back to the hotel in town and catching the tram into the circuit, much more civilized.
I also only counted 2 blocks of facilities with 6 toilets total in each. Luckily for me I had access to the ACO facilities which I used instead.

This year was my second Le mans. Last year we stayed on Bleu Nord and this year against the back wall of Maison Blanche. From a security point of view, to my mind, it felt better. Yes people had access to your tent if they wanted, but maybe naively I assumed people in the enclosure, who had forked out for tickets, were there to watch the race. On Bleu Nord last year, local scallies were just breezing through the site helping themselves. I didn't see any of this on MB.
Toilets and showers were adequate enough, but then I'm used to Glastonbury toilets from the late nineties which were a public heath hazard.
