LOL !! Nothing other than the usual state or glorious disorganisation by the ACO when it comes to anything ticket related... wink

Don't expect anything on the site re tickets for some time yet.

If you don't trust me you can always check out the ACO's official site yourself - http://www.lemans.org/24heuresdumans/pages/accueil...

I know that, but they have had that date for a while and people keep saying that it is only provisional until the mayor asks his wife and she checks she's not having tea with the police chief's wife that weekend or something.

Just wondered if it is absolutely final now beyond doubt. If it is, it's good news for me as I have a week in France, get home and two days later go for four days in Spain to recover smile

I think its safe to say the ACO have set the date of the race. I called in back end of last week and they confirmed the date was correct.
Wont be long before tickets will go on sale.

Hmm. Saw one of the ACO officials yesterday and the weekend of the 13th June is "provisionally definite or definitely provisional". Take your pick. We here have had no confirmation at all as yet, but I'd bet the actual date will apply in the end since prequal, since a few years back, has taken place about the same time (except this year of course).

EDIT: Phoned the ACO this morning and got the message loud and clear. The date is definite..............ly provisional. No confirmation will be issued until December they said. So, I can't do better than that for you for the moment. I can guarantee though that the 24 Hours will take place on the 12/13 or 19/29 June 2010; take your pick and reserve accordingly, or wait for the confirmation.

I'll say it once again and no more. THE DATE IS NOT CONFIRMED Yes, that is likely to be the date but the ACO haven't yet got all their ducks in a row. Booking a ferry now would be foolish unless you can afford an extra week's holiday if they change the date. TICKETS HAVE NOT YET BEEN PRINTED so you can buy now and pay but you won't get them for some time yet. Do as you will, but patience is a virtue, and a fool is soon separated from his money. If you doubt me, ring the ACO yourselves and check, as I did this morning.
