2010 Classic Camping

Last year we camped at karting Nord, via Speed Chills, which was absolutely brilliant, but I've just heard from SC that this site will be car clubs only next year, and the only alternatives are on the other side (outside) of the circuit. As most of the non stand spectating action takes place inside, I'd much prefer to camp inside. As I'm a Porsche Club member I'll try and get in that way, but not very optimistic; Any ideas?

I'd just wait and see from the Classic website when it gets online. I only found out a few months ago that Tetre Rouge was a car club only site for the Classic, I thought it was left empty. MB was available for the Classic and with the increased numbers they'll have to open up a few more.

I have seen that Karting is now a Karting Nord and Karting Sud. I guess there's some more space opening up round the kart track to form a Sud site.

Last year tertre rouge was club triumph and they were charging well over the odds, most of the main campsites were either club only or sold out very early, close to the date they released camping at beausjour, cheap but no facities were provided for the classic.

I used MB in the end and although miles from anywhere (except track opposite Karting Nord)facilities where clean and well placed.

Camping tickets for the classic were numerous on e bay and very cheap in the weeks leading up to the event, so if you take a chance you could get exactly what you want very cheaply including all of the club only campsites.

I don't think the triumph prices are bad at all.

They'll have hot showers and clean bogs on site + cold beer at a fraction of the circuit price.

Guess you'd need to join the club though, £40 ish I think.

Track laps have gone up in price though
