Anyone else watching the GP at the weekend with the sun setting into darkness making you think of our favorite race?

too true i was thinking the same thing,especially when they had the pit lane shots,another nostalgic tear in the eye

Yeah it did to a degree, but to clean, almost antiseptic. Where as The Race has an almost sepia patina of memories and history.

Also I suspect there was a distinct lack of cheap fizzy french lager, alcoholic crepes and bbq pork products.
