Efficient and ACO don't mix.
Check it again just in case your 2009 confirmation has just turned up.biggrin

We have the site for the next two years, so we are just waiting for the prices to be confirmed. We will know this week.

Hmmm. We are dealing with the ACO and it is very very difficult to get decisions.
It will happen soon, please hang on.

Don't panic, you're stuck with us lot! Anyway, I've worked with the French, I know how fast and effective they are.....

Two of our group are ACO members and we both applied for Houx camping passes separately at the same time on the 1st October. We both received confirmation letters yesterday, though one for passes for Houx and the other (me) for passes for Beausejour. I'd read previously about the ACO lottery in allocating tickets, but this is the first time I've had first hand experience.
It doesn't seem to be related to duration of membership as the Beausejour tickets were allocated to me with a mere 5 years of ACO membership and the Houx tickets to my mate with just a year.

I was not going to take up the Beausejour allocation but if anyone's interested in taking them, please let me know. Face value is €45 each (ACO member rates) plus €17 for the courier to get them here. I'd probably special delivery them on for £4.50 or whatever the post office charge these days.

I am afraid no news yet. I have now been told that all allocations will be issued next week. I hope this also means confirmed prices for all private sites too.

All those in the site in 2009 will receive an email as soon as we have been official news.

Every year I book through Tickets 1st but as we are all aware it’s a lottery if we get what we ask for and was wondering if there is a more secure way of getting your camping passes for Maison Blanc if you require more than 1 car pass ? is it possible to do it through teh Lemans web site ?

Sorry for hijacking the post

Kind regards
